The youth will learn how the fashion industry has used chemicals to treat denim for decades and how toxic these chemicals are to humans and our planet. Fashion Dying & Chemical houses that treat denim are working on correcting these issues, but the damage has been done. BY learning to recycle denim in particular our youth can help speed this up.
The more creative the child is the better, above are examples of our own young designers using Quilting as a method to create a whole new textile choose of three different types of denim together -adding novelty trims is a must for this contest.
